Morris dancing is a tradition of folk dancing with its origins in the Cotswold region
of England. Today, Morris dancing is done worldwide, and here in the United States there
are several dozen teams of dancers. The teams located in the Upper Midwest (and Colorado)
gather together every Memorial Day weekend to dance together and renew friendships.
This annual gathering IS the Midwest Morris Ale!!
The 2010 Midwest Morris Ale will be held in Gold Hill, Colorado, on May 28-31.
